Australian Institute of Sport Rowing Centre

The new National Rowing Centre of Excellence has enabled Rowing Australia and the Australian Institute of Sport Rowing programme to move into the same complex located on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin, Yarralumla.

The existing building was renovated and extended to create useable space for coaches, administrative staff and athletes of both programmes. All construction was completed while rowing operations continued, which required coordination with the rowing staff and athletes during preparation for race events held interstate and internationally.
