New Acton East Building

The New Acton East building is one of Canberra’s most distinctive buildings. The award winning design incorporates two basement level car parks, ground floor retail space, four levels of commercial offices and 3 levels of boutique apartments.

The structure is a post tensioned concrete frame, with a mix of cladding types including high performance glass, pre-cast concrete, coloured stainless steel and corten. The interior finishes were highly specified, particularly throughout the apartment levels which demanded particular attention to detail to ensure that the Client’s expectation was achieved.
