Refurbishment

ANU College of Engineering

Engineering Building 32, located in northern sector of ANU Campus, comprises an existing two-storey building in two wings (east and west) joined by a single storey Link Building and Enclosed Open Yard.

In 2008-2009 the School of Engineering and the Centre for Sustainable Energy Systems (CSES) received BURF funding and funding from the Australian Solar Institute to establish new engineering workshop research and teaching spaces and laboratory accommodation for new solar research equipment.

The needs of both groups were integrated into a single Refurbishment and Extension project at the College of Engineering that was constructed from late 2009 and completed in September 2010. The project was completed within the project budget of $5.5M.
