Castle Towers Shopping Centre – Enabling Works 4

The Castle Towers Expansion Project, Enabling Works 4 (EW4) package consisted of further ‘enabling works’ to facilitate the Master Plan Expansion Project ($1B+).

The EW4 package consisted of the relocation of the existing Centre’s Kmart Tenancy (Major Tenant) within the demolition zone of the Centre to a handback level of Myers Tenancy (Major Tenant). The scope consisted of the complete de-fit of the Ground Level of Myers tenancy including the removal of existing central vertical escalators between Ground Floor and Level 1 and re-instatement of Myer finishes. As for the Kmart Tenancy works were a ‘turn key’ fit-out with all base build and fit-out works completed ready for Kmart to stock and commence trade immediately.

Works commence early September 2017 with a tight programme in order to meet clear milestones as set out by Kmart in order for specialist merchandising teams and fit-out contractors to allow Kmart to commence trading.
